The Story Behind Everything
Jason LeVasseur went to Wake Forest University, double majored in Education and Philosophy, earned his teaching certificate, and student taught. In those same years he was playing drums, guitar, writing songs, and touring regionally, building something he did not yet have a name for.
A client caught one of his shows and asked him to come back. Not to play. To facilitate.
That was the moment. And everything since has grown from it.
He never stopped teaching. He never stopped playing. And somewhere in the overlap of those two things, he found what he was actually built for, walking into a room full of strangers and making sure nobody leaves feeling invisible.
He has shared stages with Train, Dave Matthews Band, John Mayer, The Roots, J. Cole, Ludacris, and Maroon 5. He has also shared stages with nervous first-year college students who did not think they had anything to say, until they did.
Growing up in Mexico, Belgium, and Italy gave him an early education in what it means to be the new person in the room. He has never forgotten that feeling. It shows up in every program he designs and every room he walks into.
Connection is the catalyst. Culture is the outcome.

Staff training keynotes, ACA conference programs, Open Mic Nights, and team building for camp professionals who know community is everything.

Jason's programs are not motivational talks. They are research-anchored, field-tested systems built around frameworks that give audiences a shared language and a practical pathway they can use the moment the experience ends.
The Rock Star Project® uses the music and band metaphor as a universal leadership language, making complex ideas about teamwork, communication, credibility, and culture immediately accessible and memorable. Every person in the room is an instrument. The band only works when everyone shows up and plays their part.
The Connected Leadership Framework™, powered by the CL5™, organizes leadership development around five essential competencies: Connection, Communication, Collaboration, Credibility, and Culture. It has been delivered to corporate teams, student leaders, camp staff, school faculties, and government agencies, and consistently gives organizations a shared vocabulary they actually use.
The I³™ Framework inspires students to move from Invisible to Involved to Influential, giving incoming students a language for their own growth and a roadmap they carry through their entire college experience, starting from Day One.
Kickoff to Connect™ is a gamified, physical card-based connection experience designed by Jason for conferences, orientations, and large-scale events. Available as a launched experience, a facilitated program, or a licensed annual product, it turns any opening session into a community-building activation.
